When a patron hires a power bank, a pre-authorisation is held on their bank card as collateral. If it’s not returned within 24 hours, this fee is charged and they can keep the power bank indefinitely. The battery can still be recharged from any USB-C cable, so it remains fully functional even if it’s not returned to a Fluro station.
